Testing Procedures

For some time now the CFA Guidance Note:Procedure for site testing construction fixingshas been recognised as the only procedure aimed specifically at the requirements for testing anchors on site.

The new code of practice for anchor BS 8539, which covers all aspects of anchor usage, including testing, sets out the test regimes for all tests which may be required on site(number of tests, required loads, interpretation of results) but, for the detailed procedures of how tests should be carried out - equipment, rate of loading, monitoring movement etc) it refers to the revised CFA Guidance note:

Procedure for site testing construction fixings - 2012.
