There a number of regulations, standards and codes that govern and provide guidance on how to use construction fixings correctly and effectively. Key among these is BS8539:2012 which is a highly significant code of practice which covers all aspects of selection and installation of fixings and the roles and responsibilities of all stakeholders in the process.
