Ensuring best fixings practice Internationally

Although the Construction Fixings Association is essentially a UK based organisation it includes, as Full Members, companies with European roots and world wide marketing interests.

Our website is regularly visited by people from all over the world many of whom are registered on our database as being interested in construction fixings. Our guidance notes are taken as "Best practice" in many markets where no other guidance exists.

International Membership has been set up for companies in overseas markets who are either distributors who sell Full Members' products - even under own branding arrangements - or who are Approved Tester companies - and share our key objective of "Ensuring best fixings practice". They must all meet our high standards in Customer Service, Technical Support and Commercial Integrity.

Distributor members are companies who wish to associate themselves with the promotion of ETA (European Technical Approvals/Assessments) which are becoming increasingly recognised throughout the world as the most trustworthy independent endorsement of fixing products.

They are companies who can support the needs of specifiers and users in the application of the products they supply from specification to installation.

Approved Tester members are companies that have the necessary test equipment for the tests they are accreditted for, who test to procedures enshrined in the CFA Guidance Note: Procedure for site testing construction Fixings - 2012 and report test results using the CFA test report formats. They employ testers trained in the CFA procedures.

This scheme is in its infancy as it has been driven by demand from the companies themselves so numbers may be small at the moment but we expect the numbers involved to grow as it becomes more widely known.

Current members are listed above. Click on their entry to view their own page where you will find full contact details and a link to their own website.
